The Life Science Museum has one of the most comprehensive collections in existence, spanning numerous disciplines from earth sciences to life science. The museum opened its doors to public viewing back when it was still just an extension program at BYU which makes these findings all that much more impressive considering how long they’ve been collecting data for this project- since 1978.

The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum, located in Provo, Utah area, is home to some of the most precious and ancient plants, animals such as invertebrates, or vertebrate animals species in existence today on this planet Earth! This museum also offers public exhibits with educational programs tailored for everyone, from children who are just starting their journey into science all way up to adults looking forward to lives enriched by knowledge about nature’s beauty.

As a living museum, they are dedicated to inspiring wonder and reverence for our planet. They accomplish this mission by properly collecting biological specimens that support current research efforts as well as those going into the future; providing cutting edge database options so world-class scientists can conduct their own studies on biodiversity & ecological complexities of Earth’s ecosystems – all with an eye towards increasing scientific knowledge about these topics which will lead us closer toward sustainable futures.

The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum is a place for young people to learn about faith and science in an engaging way while also learning how they can be sustainable Earth stewards. Through interactive exhibits, programs such as weekly seminars on environmental issues or fossil fuels sustainability, it’s easy to get involved with conservation efforts right where you live – our museum has something that will fit your desires no matter what stage of development you are at personally.

Also, The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum is committed to engaging the public with innovative educational programming and compelling exhibits in order to promote understanding of Earth’s diverse biological heritage, using their resources for developing K-12 science education programs based on Utah’s State Core Curriculum which enhances local children’s learning while providing powerful “hands-on training experiences” pre-service primary teachers as well as secondary level educators from McKay School Of Education.

The Life Science Museum strives to be a central hub for learning about the world of science and nature, one that brings people together from all walks of life in an environment where they can learn something new every day while exploring their own backyard or abroad.
